2019 NSEF Road Race and Walk

The 14th annual NSEF 5K and Fitness walk was held on Saturday, May 25 2019 at the Grange Fairgrounds on Wyassup Rd. The weather was beautiful being just under 70 degrees and mostly sunny. 179 runners ran the 5K along with over forty elementary students from the Lion’s Running Club at North Stonington Elementary School that ran the kid’s 1 Mile Race. We even had some little ones run the Kid Dash. After the race and was finished, all participants were treated to a picnic prepared by volunteers from the N.S. Grange. Dylan Hammerman was the top male finisher completing the race in 19:04 and Jessica Zichichi of North Stonington was the top female finisher at 22:39.
